Job description - CNC Programmer II

Full Time - Day Shift - Starting wage $33-$36 and up D.O.E. - 3+ years' experience

As part of our Machining team, you will be responsible for programming multi-axis CNC machining equipment. You will verify that the CNC programs are accurate and determine the best machining methods for making parts based on engineering drawings and specifications. Additionally, this position will participate in machining planning and scheduling parts to meet established timelines. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the machining process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Optimize the manufacturing processes for machining production, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
• Read and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances on blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
• Program CNC machines using Master Cam software.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in the machining process.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in part production.
• Strong understanding of materials and quality control processes.
