Our industrial forming department is second to none. Equipped with two 360 ton press brakes, we're prepared for any bending job you send our way. Our ISO-certified processes ensure that your parts are produced with precision. GK has invested heavily in state-of-the-art machines to handle large industrial sized jobs, large volume parts and pieces as well as small, delicate cutting projects. We have the capacity and capabilities to provide quality, on-time delivery for your next manufacturing project.

TruBend 5320: GK Machine has (2) Trumpf TruBend 5320 Press Brakes which are the backbone of the forming department.

TruBend 7036: GK recently installed a Trumpf TruBend 7036 Press Brake for high-quality production of smaller parts and pieces.

The TruBend 7036 is an ergonomic high-speed machine for bending small and medium-sized parts under the best working conditions while saving space for production. Due to the direct drive and the automatic angle measuring system, GK Machine can now achieve a high output at a very high level of quality for smaller parts and pieces in our production system. The setup operation is also extremely fast and safe.

The operator can work ergonomically with a standing and sitting aid as well as adjust the support table individually. It was the first bending machine to have an ergonomics certificate. The TruBend 7036 will help GK Machine achieve an increase of overall productivity, decrease the time per part, especially with high speeds and increase in acceleration values on the bending machine.

Additional Information

  • Can Hem up to 10ga Sheet at 159.5" long due to available dies.
  • Die bed is 174" and is 145" between the uprights
  • Max flange at upright 16"
  • Max interior box ID = 5" or 10" with extensions
  • Minimum distance a punched "dimple" can be from a bend line is 1.75" (10 ga max for dimples)
  • Minimum flanges must be increased for bends that are over 90', or for Z-bends.
  • When radius exceeds 6x material thickness, change K factor to .500 for more accurate bends.
  • Limited by tooling, not machine tonnage.
