GK Shade Cloth

Custom shade cloth fabrication using monofilament thread and on-site sewing for quick service and top quality. Custom orders are no problem! Commercial grade fabric is available in seamless widths of 6', 10' and 12' to insure uniformity. Resists mildew, most acids, alkalis and solvents. Light: 47%, 55%, 63%, 73%, 80% and 95%

Lighter weight than knitted fabric of the same shade levels as cloth. The construction of the Leno shade produces a fabric that lies flatter and is available in shade percentages of 30%, 55%, 77% and widths of 10 feet and 12 feet.

Knitted polypropylene fabric, resists tearing and puncturing. Knitted cloth is available in 10' and 12' widths. Taping is needed for cut ends and if using grommets. GK will provide slitting for exact widths upon request.

GK Groundcover & Truck/Trailer Tarps

Ground cover fabric (3.2 oz.) is the economical, lighter weight ground cover for use in greenhouse and outdoor areas. It is a woven black polypropylene with guide stripes every 12 inches. It is UV stabilized for up to 7 years and is permeable to air and water. (Special Order – white ground cover available)

Our truck and trailer tarps allow air circulation while protecting plants, custom sizes available in 80% and 95% varieties.

Surelock Poly Fastener and Film

GK Machine's 12 foot aluminum double extruded base and our rigid stainless steel 6 foot springs will lock and hold through the toughest of conditions. The Surelock Poly Fastener is capable of securing greenhouse plastic, shade cloth, screening and many other flexible materials. Poly Fasteners will install easily over bows and around equipment.

Stainless steel wire is available in 6' lengths and aluminum double extruded base is available in 12' length. Material thickness can range from 2-mil to 10-mil. Double extrusion allows for easy install 2-wires for four layered application. Base and wire sold separately.

GE LEXAN Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet

Lexan corrugated sheet is an economical long-term option for plant protection that is excellent for use as a greenhouse covering. It has smooth surfaces on both sides with one that is UV-protected. Light-weight and tough, it can be cold-formed to gentle curves or rolled up for easy handling.

Sheets offer the clarity of glass, transmitting up to 90% of visible light while filtering out harmful ultraviolet light. Lexan Corrugated Polycarbonate sheets are backed by a 10 year limited warranty against yellowing and loss of light transmission.
